We get it! Read on to find out why this is one of our leading treatments!

Many of our clients find their way to us because they do not want to undergo cosmetic procedures. Facial acupuncture delivers visible anti aging and health results.

Feel and Look Your Best with Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic Acupuncture (also known as facial acupuncture) is a natural and holistic approach to both feeling and looking your best. It may be an alternative to more expensive or more invasive procedures such as micro dermabrasion, injections and cosmetic surgery.

There are no harsh chemicals, drugs or invasive surgery.

“Designed to soften lines and wrinkles, plump the skin, reduce redness and acne as well as harmonise other potential health issues impacting your skin such as stress.”

Please note that while cosmetic acupuncture is a powerful approach, it is an organic process which does not erase all signs of ageing. This approach is designed to have you looking and feeling your best. Results can vary as every individual has their own unique response to the treatment process. The healthier you are the faster your results will generally appear from cosmetic acupuncture Melbourne.

Cosmetic Nanoneedling

An option you do have is to also have next generation nanoneedling done along with your cosmetic acupuncture.

Nanoneedling naturally rejuvenates the skin without painful surgery or injections or using harsh chemicals.

Nano needling stimulates your body’s natural wound-healing processes. The gentle action of our specialised equipment allows the needles to puncture the skin and create a controlled injury at a very specific depth. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body’s natural healing process to repair these micro wounds by producing new elastin and collagen in the papillary dermis. New capillaries are also formed for improved blood supply, which is so important to skin health.

It does not “burn” your skin like peels or more invasive lasers. Organic serums are also used to boost the effectiveness of nanoneedling.

It’s a great addition to cosmetic acupuncture for even better results. There is no down time after an appointment.

What People Are Saying About Us

How Does it Work?

Very fine needles (like a human hair) are gently inserted into specific areas of your face. These needles cause a little bit of ‘microdamage’, which causes your body to send in the ‘repair crew’ of red and white blood cells, macrophages, elastin and collagen to fix the problem. And while this amazing little repair crew is their, they also work on the other skin or complexion issues that are bothering you.

Your body’s ability to repair and restore is formidable.

And while we work with your face, we also work with your body to help return your general health and vitality. The healthier you are inside, the healthier you look on the outside. We will take your pulse to determine your organ function health and then use acupuncture to improve it.

Lastly, acupuncture is brilliant for stress management. People walk in and they float out of the clinic!

Your Face

Your face is your most visible feature. You look in the mirror every day; it’s on Facebook; it’s in all your photos and it’s how you connect with everyone around you personally and professionally. Like it or not, your face is the most influential thing in your life. It can also be a primary source of our self-esteem, self-respect and confidence.

We all live fast-paced and stressful lives, which affects our health and makes us age faster than we would like. Your face is a window into your health. So bags or dark circles under the eyes, wrinkles, lines, sagging and skin blemishes can all be signs of health issues and of accelerated ageing.

Avoid Harsh Cosmetic Treatments

Many of us have already considered getting some form of cosmetic treatment to help improve some features on our face that we don’t like. Remedies that come to most people’s minds include injections, micro dermabrasion, chemical peels and even cosmetic surgery.

But there are of course down-sides to these types of treatments including:

  • Long recovery times – sometimes you can’t go out in public for more than a week.
  • Complications from repeat treatments – excessive injections can make the face droop and sag.
  • Impact on your health – repeated use of chemicals can cause health problems. You might look good in the short-term, but what are you doing to your health in the long-term?
  • Expensive – cosmetic treatments generally aren’t cheap.
  • Doing nothing to treat the root cause of problems on your face – there is often a health reason for wrinkles, blemishes, skin tone and sagging and Western medical treatments do nothing to address the root cause of the problem – so they may keep coming back.

Facial Acupuncture FAQ’s

Cosmetic acupuncture is not painful. The insertion of the needles is very shallow with only a small prick felt at most. The needles used are of the highest quality designed specifically for comfortable and smooth insertion. In fact, it is common for clients to find facial acupuncture relaxing and to catch up on some sleep during treatment!

A series of cosmetic acupuncture treatments is usually required as it is an organic process and optimal rejuvenation takes time.

Firstly, at your initial visit, we will discuss your goals and advise how many treatments you may need.

t is generally not advised to have cosmetic acupuncture if you have any of the following:

  • recurrent migraines
  • easily bruise
  • broken skin, cold sores, scabs, active acne, rashes
  • psoriasis
  • contagious skin problems
  • skin cancers
  • had a collagen injection within the last 3 months
  • recently have had micro-dermabrasion or laser therapy.
